Provides county precincts and departments an in-house resource for safety consulting, safety and health information and training for employee safety and health programs.
Responsibilities include developing safety and health procedures, safety audits of operations and facilities, accident investigation, safety meeting programs and accident analysis.
Safety and Health personnel are available on request to assist county precincts and departments with their safety and health activities.
The safety section also supports the activities of the Harris County Safety Committee.
